AI Axis 20 Centrifugal Pump
The AI Axis pump is a smart return pump which offers features commonly reserved for much larger pumps. The unit offers full controller via the app which can be operated and programmed completely wirelessly. This allows you to not only reduce or increase the flow to match a desired output for your size aquarium, but you can also alter the amount of flow throughout the day offering a wide verity of flow rates from just a return pump alone.
The Axis pumps also feature a calibration feature, allowing the user to measure a quantity of water pumped to record the result with the app to offer a far more accurate figure on flow rates tailored to your specific setup. This type of feature would offer great use in a situation which the pump is installed on a longer return or with a higher head height, helping you figure out your flow requirements more simply ensuring the best flow setup you can achieve.
These pumps also have a very unique feature which prevents back syphoning and reduces the potential of micro-bubbles being produced due to air entering the return pipe. It does this by utilizing the calibration system results to run the pump just enough to keep water levels high in the return pipe without sending the water out the pipe, creating a stalled water effect. This allows you to do whatever is needed without the flow disturbing you and without adding unwanted air into your water.
