The Neptune Systems A3 Apex is the middle of the line Apex unit for aquarists who seek control and monitoring but want a more reasonable price. The unit achieves this by scaling back the system without sacrificing the function and meaning of the Apex system and offering the ability to grow and expand for the everyday aquarist. The Apex A3 Allows you to do almost everything with your aquarium. You have the ease and ability to monitor all of your apex reading remotely through any device.
The Apex A3 offers a vast amount of control and monitoring for anyone who seeks remote access and control of their reef. You can monitor critical parameters such as temperature, Ph and when combined with the Trident Calcium, magnesium and alkalinity.
Control is simple with the Apex A3 thanks to the included Energy Bar 6 which allows control and functions through the Apex with physical outlet status LEDs. The unit also have two 24VDC accessory ports, three 1LINK ports and three AquaBus ports for expandability and growth for your Apex system. The unit will also allow for alarms and decisions based on power. This type of function allows for control of other brand equipment to rectify issues which could crop up such as high alkalinity, you are able to program the system to turn off a third party dosing pump to allow the levels to lower.
A leak in an aquarium can either cause a minor issue or an extremely bad one and we all know that. That’s why the Apex A3 comes equipped with a water leak detector. The leak detector ensures that you have ample time to rectify a leak should one every occur thanks to its ability to detect the leak and not only make an audible sound right at your aquarium but also send you notification of the leak to your email or phone number via text. This type of function can be the difference between a soaked floor and extremely bad parameter swings,
