Apex Flow Monitoring Kit - FMK
The Apex FMK Flow Monitoring Kit takes the guess work out of knowing your exact flow rates. Flow rates are critical to the health and success of any aquarium, more so with reef aquariums, which rely on adequate flow for the health of the inhabitants. With 2 x 1/2" sensors and 1 x 1" flow sensors, you can rest assured knowing your exact flow rates on your return pump, reactors or more. Works with ANY model of Apex unit.
By using Apex FMk to monitor your flow, you have benefits of the Apex notifying you the instant the flow stops for any reason. Also being notified of a reduction in flow which could be caused by blockages or clogging.
By watching the dashboard tile on your Apex you can fine tune reactors or pumps to obtain the perfect flow rate that you need. Also again you can be alerted by any reduction in flow through your reactors when they become clogged.
Know exactly the flow rate! Head height, pipe fittings, valves and such like can drastically reduce your flow rate so remove the guess work.
The FMK from Apex includes the FMM - Fluid Monitoring Module, 1 x 1" Sensor, 2 x 1/2" Sensors. The Apex FMM is a multi - purpose module that, with the help of other option accessories enables your Apex to do even more such as Flow Monitoring, Leak Detection, Water Level Detection, Power 24VDC accessories and future sensors. With a free port on the Apex FMM, you can use this for an additional flow sensor, a water level sensor, leak detection, or more.
