Aquael LEDDY 14W Plant LED (700 mm)
Aquael LEDDY LED's combines the best of both worlds - enhanced durability, low energy consumption and longer life. Complete with its own power supply, the Leddy LED lights can be used in most existing aquariums. If used with the Leddy Adaptors (availble seperately), either T5 or T8, these lights can be fitted into existing light units in a range of sizes as detailed below. Also ideal for existing faulty light units due to having its own power supply.
The Aquael LEDDY Retrofit LED 14W Plant lighting unit is particularly useful for those who are environmentally conscious and looking for ways to reduce the cost of running aquarium lighting in the home. The LED's promise lower electricity bills, yet provide years of life compared with that of fluorescent lighting, whose efficiency and penetration capability deplete within the first year.
Featuring a specialized light spectrum tailored to the needs of aquatic plants at 8000k, the Leddy Tube Plant delivers the perfect balance of wavelengths essential for photosynthesis. This promotes healthy growth and shows off vivid colours.
With its sleek and compact design, the Leddy Tube Plant seamlessly integrates into any aquarium setup, providing uniform illumination across the entire tank. Its low-profile construction ensures maximum light penetration to the lower levels of your aquarium, promoting growth even in densely planted areas.
Retrofit Adaptors are available separately to allow fitting of the tube into existing T5 or T8 light fittings. The adapators allow you to fit the light into various length fittings from approx 820mm-950mm. Please not this unit does not come with fittings and they are available separately.
