The compact "big brother" to the FX4, the Fliuval FX6 External Filter is suitable for tanks up to 1500 litres and prides itself on its Smart Pump^TM - advanced microchip technology which offers a constant monitoring of the pump to optimize its performance. The FX6 is suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The multi-stage filter pumps out 3500 litres of water per hour

Designed for reliable filtration in a finely adjusted aquarium environment, the Smart Pump technology is equipped with a microchip which permanently monitors the filter and impeller. Speed and efficiency of the magnetic impeller are constantly monitored in order to guarantee a powerful water flow and highest energy efficiency. The Smart Pump technology of the FX6 manages the self start feature and evacuates any trapped air every 12 hours to promise maximum efficiency.

The Fluval FX6 External Filter is also self-starting - all you need to do is fill with water and plug in - the FX46will do the rest! Hosing can also be attached to output for an easy water change and eliminates the need to use water buckets.

The innovative design of the Fluval FX6 High External Filter fits under most aquariums and has noise-proofing rubber feet to help absorb sound for a flawless and quiet operation. An anti-clog, telescopic strainer ensures continuous water flow, and valves positioned at convenient 45-degree angle offer easy installation and rotation.

All media is included within the Fluval FX6 External Filter which has 3 built-in media compartments for flexibility and multiple filter media arrangements. The FX6 has also been fitted with aqua-stop valves with leak-proof Click-fit attachment system.
