D-D Blade Runner Strong
The D-D Blade runner Strong is an ultra-slim cleaning magnet using rare earth magnets. It has been designed to use only 2 blades in contact with the aquarium glass for minimal contact to glass to prevent accidental scratching from caught or stuck sand/gravel. The Blade Runner is also made with a neutral buoyancy to stop it floating away but to also prevent it plummeting into the sand, risking possible damage to delicate corals or any animals in its path. The Blade runner uses a dual blade design, spanning the entire body of the unit for minimum contact, but maximum cleaning efficiency.
The Blade runner Strong is made for 15-20mm thick glass/acrylic. For use on glass, 1 plastic and 1 stainless steel blade will provide the best results. For Acrylic the use of both plastic blades will provide the best results and prevent scratching. Combined with this, the super-slim design the blade runner uses, allows the user to slip the magnet in and out of tight gaps which would normally be difficult to reach for most magnets.
