The chemical composition of 1+ 2+ 3+ is based on the method developed by H. Balling. This formula has been fine tuned at the AquaForest lab and enriched with trace elements which have been found to be fundimental for mainting many marine organisms. A result of this extended research and development is the 1+ 2+ 3+ components. These additives are intended for dosing in equal amounts on a regular basis to fulfil coral demands not only in terms of essential compounds like magneium and calcium, but also trace elements which need careful and systematic dosing but are notoriously difficult to assess.
When dosing 1+ 2+ 3+, you may find that some of your macro elements (Calcium, alkalintiy and magnesium) are still not level or at the desired level you wish to achive. it is suggested to continue to dose the 1+ 2+ 3+ compnents in equal doses, and use the additonal suppmlements from Aquaforest (Calcium, Magnesium and KH buffer) to restore desired levels indivdually to ensure the correct ionic balance from the 1+ 2+ 3+ components.
