The economical daily diet in the form of a medium-sized pellet is perfectly suited to medium koi. The 2kg bag of medium pellets enhances rapid growth, proper form and efficient utilization.
Hikari Staple Medium Pellet consists of a complex blend of essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals for desirable growth and development in pond fish. High in stabilized vitamin C, this expertly designed pond fish nutrition is also able to promote successful resistance against stress, whilst boosting immunity against infectious disease. Hikari’s round shaped pellets are best for Koi, Goldfish and Cichlids. Selected ingredients are heated and kneaded under high temperature. With this process, protein and starch bind together to make a firm though soft pellet, this quality and consistency prevents dissolving the pellets while feeding.
Hikari Staple Medium Pellet will not cloud or stain your pond water and is highly palatable for less food waste - thus cleaner, clearer pond water results. It is recommended by Hikari that enough food is given that can be consumed within a few minutes, and that care should be taken to remove any uneaten food after feeding time.
