The yellow, red and green sticks are each composed of a unique mixture of essential nutrients considered paramount for optimum turtle health, growth and development. The 120g bag can be used to provide a complete and expertly balanced nutritional diet for your favourite pets!
The red stick contains Chitosan extracted from crustaceans. It helps to support metabolism, immune system health and skin resiliency in turtles and is known as the conditioning stick.
The green Hikari sticks are calcium enriched, enabling shell support and developmental needs to be met effortlessly. These coloured sticks also help to prevent the many diseases caused by calcium deficiency.
Lastly the yellow Hikari sticks are the staple nutrition. They contain the proteins, minerals and multi-vitamins to promote successful turtle growth, allowing them to maintain peak condition throughout their life.
Turtle Sticks By Hikari soak up water very quickly to enable even the smallest turtle to handle them. Designed so as not to break up in the water, the turtle food simultaneously helps to maintain excellent water conditions, without any undesirable clouding and debris floating around in the water - a problem that often restricts viewing pleasure.
Feeding guidelines: Feed once or twice a day the amount that can be consumed by your turtles within a 2-3 minute window. Always remove uneaten food and do not overfeed.
