ITC Aquatics PARwise PAR Meter is a specially designed device created to assist aquarium keepers in setting up and maintaining correct light settings. Throughout the hobby the hardest question to answer has always been “are my light setting efficient for growth”. PARwise was created to help with this. Due to our eyes determaining the correct light settings can be difficult. With PARwise, we don’t need to worry about this anymore. PARwise is capable of measuring PAR (PPFD-PhotosytheticPhotonicFlux Density), Kelvin (colour temperature), LUX, Spectrum, DLI (Daily Light Integral) Peak Wavelength, Hue (as colour). These statistics allow for us to make an educated decision on our light settings to ensure that the correct amount and type of light reaches where it needs to be. Not only this, but over time due to growth and other factors, we need to adjust our lights to ensure that we maintain this correct lighting. PARwise will ensure that if it be plant or coral, we get the right light for the right growth as our aquariums will flourish.
Use of PARwise couldn’t be any simpler. Just plug it into a computer capable of accepting USB A, load up the PARwise website on a browser such a chrome and begin testing. Includes a free USB-C adaptor to fit into android smart phones, tablets and modern PCs. Connects to most things but will not connect to an IOS device.
Simply visit the PARwise website on google chrome based web browsers, then simply place the sensor next to you desired area to take a reading. Once you have been online once, you can download the simple to use ap for even simpler use going forward.
