The Maxspect Aeraqua Protein skimmer is the world’s first skimmer with a unique dual intake pump with dual needle wheel. With a small footprint and rated from 400 - 1,700 Litre aquariums depending on stocking density the Maxspect Aeraqua Skimmer is fully integrated and optimized for exceptional skimming capability.

One feature built into the Maxspect Aeraqua Skimmer is the overflow detector sensor which will trigger the pump to shut off in the event of the skimmer cup overflowing. Additionally, the simply quick release system ensures emptying the skimmer cup is effortless and avoids unnecessary strain on the neck of the skimmers.
Maxspect has also ensured easy maintenance with the addition quick release system to disassemble the skimmer with only the need for 4 quarter-turn screws and 4 quick release clips.
To ensure the Maxspect Aeraqua is near silent Maxspect have designed the intake to run down the back of the skimmer to the silencer which has been uniquely intergraded in the bottom panel on the skimmer.
A front flow adjustment dial on the front of the Maxspect Aeraqua and intergraded bubble stop ensures easy skimmer adjustments and reduced micro bubbles returning too the sump.
