The Maxspect Jump protein Skimmer MJSK-400 is one of the most unique skimmer on the market. Packed with its special Dual intakes and Dual needle wheels. The Dual needle wheel design has been created for the finest micro bubbles possible increasing the efficiency on the skimmer massively. These finer bubbles have showcased a far superior capability of lifting out dirty and debris ultimately removing it from the system. The dual intake allows for more efficient mixing to get the most out of the unit for its size. These units also come with a precise dial on the front to adjust the water level in the unit, a special integrated air silencer, integrated bubble trap to prevent micro bubbles escaping into the system and is DC powered with a controller that support feeding mode, overflow protection, start delay and more.
One key factor of this unit is the ease of maintenance. Keeping a skimmer clean and clear allows for the best results, however some skimmers can be difficult to clean and so sometimes we neglect this tank at the cost of efficiency. Maxspect made the skimmer a toolless design with special body clamps and silicone joints which allows for simple deconstruction. This means that cleaning this skimmer can be done in a matter of minutes.
The unit is very effective for its size being capable of working on a 400L high bio-load system while only using 25W of power. On a much lower bio-load system it can support up to 1000L. The footprint on this unit is only 200x200mm with a hight of 555.5mm. This comes with a water flow rate of 1,200 LP/H and an air intake of 600LP/H
