NT Labs Koi Care Formaldehyde 250ml
Koi Care Formaldehyde is an anti parasite treatment specialized for Koi fish. Formaldehyde 30% is effective against protozoan parasites and flukes. It is especially useful in treating flukes due to its ability to penetrate mucus and reach the parasites that would otherwise be protected from other bath treatments.
The fast acting and effective 250ml solution of Koi Care Formaldehyde will treat 17048 litres of pond water and has been specially formulated in-house at NT Labs by their team of experts, who combine their years of knowledge and skill in premium pond medication treatments, into this unique blend.
Add 10ml of malachite green, to every 352 gallons (1600 L) of pond water and 10ml of formaldehyde to every 150 gallons (681 L). A pre-prepared mixture of formaldehyde and malachite green called FMG Mixture is also available. This is a strong one-shot treatment and is thus not suitable for use with those systems that contain sensitive species such as Orfe, Sterlet, Rudd or Tench. Some extrernal parasites such as flukes Gyrodactylus and Dactylogrus are best controlled using Formaldehyde alone
