Ecotech Radion XR15 Freshwater G5
The Ecotech Radion XR15 Freshwater G5 light unit is an amazing light unit hat packs a huge amount of power into such a small form factor. A combination of full spectrum white LEDS which maximise plant health and growth augmented with RGB to provide rich colours of aquarium plants and inhabitants, allowing you to enjoy both your environment and fish in the best way you can. Using the Mobius app, you can alter the temperature, control the on-off time, and even show a live demo for adjustability. Packed with 90W of power, the light unit is suitable for aquariums between 24-30 inches wide and deep (60 – 75cm).
The LEDs in the unit are a combination of 12 warm white, 24 cool white, 3 photo reds, 3 greens, 2 blues and 2 limes. This overall combination not only provide the PAR and spectrum needed for growth and healthy, but the addition of photo reds, greens and limes enhance the colouration of anything under the light unit. The unit itself comes with a huge heatsink with a built-in fan system, the fan operates smoothly and quietly. If the unit begins to heat up, to prolong the LED chips lifespan, the fan will kick in to cool quicker and then slow back down when the optimal temperature is reached.
This light is best used on a planted freshwater aquarium but can also be used on the likes of a macro algae aquarium or even a refugium with good results due to its tuned spectrum.
