One main reason the REEFER Skimmer is out skimming its competitors is the way Red Sea rate the flow according to there tried and tested Reef-Spec criteria. These criteria cover water flow and water to air ratio to ensure the perfect amount of contact time is achieved to effectively strip pollutants from the water.
With the REEFERS effective flow dynamics, it efficiently maintains an ORP or REDOX level over 350mv which is normally associated with aquariums running ozone.
Some sumps can be tight for space and to ensure that the REEFER skimmer always runs at optimum performance there are 3 assembly options for the pumps inlet and regulation valve to ensure optimum flow is always achieved.
The Red Sea REEFER skimmer collection cup comes complete with a two-blade manual neck cleaner, bubble viewing window and a 1m drainage valve hose, so your always in full control to keep the skimmer running at top performance.
