The Red Sea Complete Reef Care is a proven 4-part program ensuring optimum coral growth and development which replenishes all 36 major, minor and trace elements based on a relative fix ratio of calcium uptake.
The 4-Part Reef Care Program has been designed for Reef Aquariums without a refugium. Red Sea’s long-term research determined that in reef aquariums running without a refugium, the 36 Major, Minor and Trace Elements are used up in a relative fixed ratio and can be measured based on the Calcium uptake.
Program Breakdown
- Part 1 – Calcium & Magnesium+
- Part 2 – KH/Alkalinity & PH Stabilizer
- Part 3 – Iodine & Potassium
- Part 4 – Iron & Biological Elements
This means you simply test your Calcium with Red Sea’s Calcium’s Pro Test kit which as a result will determine the dose for all 4 parts of the program. The simplicity does not stop there! Using a Red Sea ReefDose you simply adjust the dose of part 1 and the ReefDose will automatically adjust the dosage of parts 2, 3 and 4. Because this is used up in a fixed ratio all parts will be used up at the same time for extra convenience.
Pack Size Examples
- Small – ideal for a 150 litre Mixed Reef or approx. 3 months.
- Medium – ideal for a 300 litre Mixed Reef for approx. 3 months
- Large – ideal for a 600 litre Mixed Reef for approx. 3 months
