Reef Zlements Calcium 1000ml
Calcium is a Macro element which is present in large amounts in the reef around the world. All animals present in reef aquariums who have a skeleton need calcium along with carbonate, these compounds are used to support their vital functions and grow. It is essential in any reef aquarium to supply stable levels of calcium to ensure continuous healthy growth.
Calcium is a Marco elements, one that is used a lot and as such is depleted from our aquariums quickly, even quicker when corals grow faster. It is essential to ensure that calcium levels are stable and consistent. Doing so will increase coral growth, however with this, testing should be done to monitor and maintain the calcium levels. Many reefers will see large amounts of calcium being consumed as colonies grow which could lead to even more consumption which is why is it essential to test for it.
