The RedSea ReefRun DC pumps are an effective, quiet, energy-efficient, and powerful pump designed to work with the new ReefRun controller. These units are well-built pumps with a lot of thought going into the user’s experience. Back by a 5-year warranty, these units like to show off their reliability and effectiveness. The units have been designed with extra-long power cables with convenient connectors near the pump, designed to make cable management much easier and simple while still offering easy maintenance and access when needed. The RedSea ReefRun DC Pump 7000 is rated at 3000-7000 l/h with a max height of 5.0M rated at 20-65w power consumption.
The pumps have a rotatable outlet to allow for installation of the unit if a vast array of situations and application. Furthermore the pumps have a rotatable cap on the inlet which allows you to angel the intake downwards, this helps to prevent surface water being sucked in in lower level operation to stop air bubbles. Whan paired with the controller the pump can be turned off and on, automated to follow a schedule for feeding, alternate wave patterns of low flow for a set amount of time and up to high flow for a set amount of time. This can be very useful in a situation where you use a auto feeder and don’t want your food to go down your overflow.
