Seachem Reef Complete 500ml is a concentrated optimized blend of ionic calcium made to restore and maintain calcium to levels found in natural seawater without effecting pH. Calcium and carbonates are key to coral growth, once one becomes deficient the growth of corals will cease, if these levels are not corrected, a noticeable decline in corals health will be seen.
Reef complete also contains magnesium and strontium in amounts proportionate to typical use rations (100:5:0.1, Ca:Mg:Sr) This allows you to keep these levels up due to the consumptions by corals. Reef Complete is a blended product and not just calcium chloride. Commercially available calcium chloride contains ammonia. Unlike other ionic calcium supplements, Reef Complete is blended to a higher pH in order to force the ammonia to gas off into the atmosphere and also prevent pH lowering in your aquarium.
