Tetra Pond Water Stabiliser is a quick and effective way to raise carbonate hardness (KH) in pond water and to help stabilize the pH. The innovative stabiliser from Tetra comes as a result of their years of knowledge and experience in producing leading pond water treatments. The 1.2kg Tetra Pond Water Stabiliser will treat 10,000 litres of pond water.
In any pond where the KH value is too low, the pH of the water can easily crash and fluctuate. By increasing the KH value to between 3 and 10 DH, you can help to prevent the pH from crashing and thus stabilize your pond water parameters. Tetra Pond Water Stabiliser helps to do just this, with a quick dissolving stabiliser that will not cloud the water.
Dosage: If you need to raise your pond KH do this slowly over a few days and keep testing your KH and pH using a water test kit such as Tetra Pond 6 in 1 Test Kit. Monthly dispense 1/2 tin per 5000 litres in the pond to increase this by about 4 DH. Check pond water after heavy rainfall and using algae treatments as a re dose may be required. For 5000 litres:- 600g (1/2 tin) ca. 4 dH 300g (1/4 tin) ca. 2 dH 150g ca. 1 dH
