The Tetratec EX1200 Plus uses a 5 stage process to effectively clean and filter the aquarium water. The water is pumped through ceramic rings, bio balls, carbon media and filter floss for sparkling clean water for your fish to thrive in. With control valves on the inlet and outlet pipes you can effectively set the flow of water to suit the different requirements. Cleaning is simple, just shut off the valves and remove the connection kit from the main filter housing. The main body of water is then kept inside the filter chamber so you can work on the filter wherever you like without risk of spilling water.

Application
TetraTec EX filters come compelte with full operating instructions. Simply install the pipework and prepare the media as instructed. Then add a little aquarium water to the main cannister, attach the lid, and use the filter-start button to completely fill the unit. The EX filter sits outside the aquarium where it is easy to access and clean.
