Setting up a reef aquarium has become very easy and simple. Standard glass aquariums as well as lights, sea salt, live rock and animals can be obtained from every dealership. In terms of technology, there are currently new and streamlined solutions available with an internal filter technology, which are also compact and very efficient. The new TUNZE Comline Reefpack 500 consists of a Comline DOC Skimmer 9012, Multifilter 3168 with replacement filter cartridges, the Tunze Osmolator 3155 and a reservoir tank with a capacity of 27 litres (7 USgal.). 
The TUNZE Comline Reefpack 500 is designed solely for the purpose of dirt extraction and doesn't contain a biological component, only requires a minimum of 10 kg living stones in the aquarium. This technological advantage is not a competitive factor for the bio-dynamics of the reef habitat. Just like all Comline components, the Reefpack 500 can be combined with additional elements, for example, the calcium unit, calcium dispenser or other Multifilters. The Reefpack 500 is delivered packaged in a reservoir tank with 27 liters (7 USgal.) volume, completely pre-assembled with TUNZE filter media and the Silence Magnet Holder for a glass thickness of up to 15 mm (1/2"). After the device is installed the bucket is used as a storage reservoir tank for the water level control.

Comline DOC Skimmer 9012: 

Designed for mixed aquariums or soft coral aquariums with 200 to 1,200 litres (52 to 317 USgal.) or for sensitive reef habitats with hard corals with up to 500 litres (132 USgal.). It utilizes the TUNZE "Flash Skimming" principle which performs a rapid protein extraction from the aquarium water, thus avoiding long internal dwell times for the water. The unit offers a combination of water inlet for the protein-loaded aquarium surface, and a fine air-bubble generator with a dispersant, both of them deliver an extreme skimming capacity.
Immersion depth: approx. 255 to 285 mm (10 to 11"), skimmer cup volume: 0.7 litres (0.2 USgal.), approx. 400 l/h (105 USgal./h), 13 W, 230V/50Hz (115V/60Hz), dimensions with Magnet Holder (L x W x H): 140 x 110 x 415 mm (5.5 x 4.3 x 16.3 in.).

Comline Multifilter 3168: 
Mechanical cartridge quick filter for aquariums from 200 to 500 liters (53 to 132 USgal.), with a surface suction device to remove the surface film, a bottom suction device for coarse particles and for the removal of sediments.
Immersion depth: approx. 270 mm (10.6 in.) to 290 mm (11.4 in.) in the aquarium and min. 250 mm (9.8 in.) in cabinet systems, variable pump capacity from 500 to 2,100 l/h (132 to 555 USgal./h), 10 - 18 W, 230V/50 Hz (115V/60 Hz), dimensions with Magnet Holder (L x W x H): 140 x 110 x 300 mm (5.5 x 4.3 x 11.8 in.).

Osmolator® 3155: 
The water level in the aquarium and the water parameters are maintained very consistently through the water level control, provided by the TUNZE® Osmolator® 3155 which is attached directly to the filter housing.

Tunze Comline Reefpack 250 also comes complete inside a bucket which I turn can also we used for storing R.O water inside for top-up water for a marine aquarium.
