AI Blade Coral Grow

The AI Blade Grow is built to give your corals the best spectrum for growth. The unit achieves excellent growth in all species thanks to blue peaked spectrum offered by the LEDs. A balance of blue and white diodes provide the required energy range (400-500 nm) which has been proven to be extremely effective for corals. The Blade Coral Grow utilizes a cluster group configuration, this configuration is 12 royal blue, 6 cool white and 6 blue.

The new Edgefield optics are one of the most important components of this lighting system, incorporated into the blade, it delivers excellent light distribution, offering even PAR, smooth colour mixing and exceptional spread. Being designed exclusively for the blade, it provides and incredible 95° spread, this not only helps spread PAR and mix colours well, but even provides a spectacular exit surface, presenting a crisp and natural shimmer.

The Blade Coral Grow comes in an array of sizes ranging from 12.1” up to 66.1”. At full power, the units use between 20W – 140W (dependant on the light unit size). All units 39.1” and below come with the low profile tank rests, these rests extend up to 4.5” on either side for a total of 9” length increase. All blades over 39.1” will be supplied with the mounting clips which are compatible with the AI HMS single-arm and HMS hanging kit.

These units have been built exceptionally well built using high quality aluminium, this housing doubles as a heatsink for the unit allowing for excellent silent operation. This is thanks to the housing being finned and wide providing excellent surface area for heat dissipation.

The AI Blades offers a unique lighting setup. Being able to run the Blade Coral Grow solo, or paired with any light brand and even other blades to create the perfect spectrum for you. Running up to 6 blades on 1 mount is easily done and thanks to the M8 mounting thread, you can create your own mounting system needed for holding the unit to combine it with other systems, the possibilities are endless.

Thanks to AI and EcoTech now being under the same umbrella, you can use the AI Blade light units in either MyAI app or Mobius depending on your preference to help reduce the need for multiple apps.
