Blagdon Pond Balance Standard
Blagdon Bond Balance is a clever innovation, manufactured in-house at Blagdon, which gradually adjusts your pond's water chemistry whilst actively cleaning up blanket weed. The solution treats 2,273 litres of pond water and is both fast acting and incredibly easy to dose. Blagdon Pond Balance has been proven over the years to be one of the most effective blanket weed treatments for ponds available on the market.
Blagdon Pond Balance is a safe treatment for fish, plants and wildlife, and treats unsightly blanket weed which can get out of control if not kept on top of. Blanket weed will eventually choke the life out of the whole pond, leaving living conditions unbearable for fish and plants to survive in. After treating with Blagdon Pond Balance there will be an increased level of sludge on the bottom of the pond, due to the dead algae, therefore it is recommended by Blagdon that your pond is then treated with Blagdon Sludge Buster to help clean up the bottom of the pond quickly and effectively.
Treatment instructions are as follows:
- Calculate the volume of the pond using the following, Length x width x Depth x 1000 gives you the volume in litres (measured in meters) for gallons x by 4.45
- Add 1 level measuring spoon for every 360 litres or 80 gallons in to a bucket of warm water.
- Stir until completely dissolved and distribute evenly around the pond.
- Treat every 10 days for the first month and once and month there after as a preventative.
