This excellent grade fine Coral Sand for marine or hard water type set - ups is also used in Lake Malawi environments and is also the perfect way to add depth and natural colour to your display. Corals Sands and Gravel are suitable as an aquarium substrate or as a filter media due to the high surface area for biological and mechanical filtration, helping to maintain good water conditions for healthy fish growth and development.

Create a colourful aquascape in your aquarium with this Coral sand from TMC which is also a natural aragonite offering a high surface area of 10000 m2 per m3. The natural colour of the sand makes it a particularly attractive element to use in tanks lacking texture and detail. It will also provide fish with a tactile feature to nuzzle in amongst when in search of food - behaviors that mimic those found in the wild. 

This coral sand is great for adding natural tones and colour to your tank and will contrast against the colour palette of a mixed fish community effortlessly. It can also be used to anchor ornaments, plants, rocks and stones into place on the bottom of the tank bed for added dimension to your display. Please note this product will raise pH and hardness so can only be used in Marine Aquariums and other high pH type freshwater set-ups.
