Aqua Medic ECO Drift 20.1 Circulation Pump
Aqua Medics Eco Drift current pumps are a high efficient, low voltage circulation pumps for reef and marine aquariums complete with a Wi-Fi enabled controller.
The Eco Drift is a compact quiet circulation pump with 180° swivelling bracket with noise reducing rubber sockets between the magnets. The Eco Drifts controller has many settings to alter the pumps power percentage and wave frequency, see below for more information
- Speed % can be altered from 20 – 100 with intervals of 20 which can be used in conjunction with W1 and C.
- C represents a constant flow
- W1 represents an on/off pattern which creates a rocking wave like motion, The speed can be increased and decreased in time between the on and off using the ‘Fast’ and ‘Slow’ dial whilst the power can we altered using the speed settings in intervals of 20%
- W2 represents the mode which increases and decreases the speed creating a smooth wave like pattern, the speed between the increase and decrease can be altered with the ‘Fast’ and ‘Slow’ dial. By pressing the Feed/Mode button for 5 seconds this turns the Feed Mode on shown by the illuminated LED (10min), the pump will stop and restart after 10 minutes. A forced restart can be done by holding the button for a further 5 seconds.
- Random – This mode cycles through all of the above to create a mixed flow in the aquarium much like what a reef would experience in the wild.
- Night Mode can be activated by pressing the Mode/Light button until the ‘night’ LED is illuminated, this automatically reduces the power by 50% during the night.
Also available is the Aqua Medic Wi-Fi Master Controller which enables you to connect two x1 series EcoDrifts wirelessly using only the Master controller.
