Apex Neptune Double Junction PH Probe
The Apex Double Junction PH Probe is the perfect component to help detect an imbalance of PH levels within your aquarium water. As a component provided in the Apex Neptune Control Kit, the probe contributes to an easy and highly efficient method of controlling ideal environmental factors for all of your living tank inhabitants.
Double junction probes are far more accurate over a longer period than single junction probes, with single junction the aquarium water has direct contact with the reference electrode and over time water leaks into the electrolyte which alters its accuracy and means more calibrations are needed. Double junction probes have an external and internal junction before the aquarium water can contaminate the reference electrode meaning this probe stays accurate for a lot longer and fewer calibrations are required.
