Tropica 1-2-GROW Micranthemumcallitrichoides 'Cuba'
Tropica 1-2-GROW Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' is one of the smallest aquarium plants in the world. It creeps over the bottom with millimetre-sized round leaves. It is an attractive and popular foreground carpet plant ideal for all size aquariums, especially nanos which required a good sense of size. The plant itself is not difficult to keep, as it grows very fast and dense. It does, however, require good lighting, co2, fertilizer and circulation to really thrive. With the right conditions, small pearls or bubbles of oxygen are often produced and can be seen on the top of the leaves. This not only created an interesting feature of rising bubbles and texture, but a huge benefit in oxygen levels within the water. For the best end result, plant clumps a few centimetres apart and it will quickly grow into a dense mat.
