Tropica 1-2-GROW Pogostemon Erectus
Tropica 1-2-GROW Pogostemon Erectus is their tissue culture variant of the Indian form of Pogostemon Erectus. It forms very dense compact growth in groups of bright green, with conifer-like stems. It average hight is 15-40 cm tall and can be about 1-3cm wide. If you want to create a large dense bush with this plant, simply trim the stems and plant then near the existing plant, by doing this you will create a large bushy top stemming out from a compact area in the substrate.
This plant is suitable for both background and if kept trimmed mid ground too. It is excellent at creating a stunning focal point within an aquarium due to its eye-catching nature. Though not required, intense lighting on this plant will ensure it stays compact for a much longer period. The plant had moderate growth and have very large vigorous root structures. Over time the plant will require regular trimming to keep a specific look or can be left to continue to grow. It is more than capable of growing out of the aquarium into an immersed state, if trimmed however, these stems from over the water line will need time to adjust to being put under water.
