Sera Siporax Mini Professional 35g was developed specifically for smaller aquariums up to approximately 30L. This specialised media provides a tremendous amount of surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. Thanks to its large surface area, Siporax Mini ensures stable water parameters and promotes healthy eco-system. Naturally, organisms large and small consume foods and produce waste. This organic waste needs to be processed by beneficial bacteria to protect the fish from ammonia. Sera Siporax Mini’s design allows for water flow all the way through the media meaning that all the bacteria is capable of performing this action effectively.
Unlike other filter media on the market, Sera Siporax Mini consists of sintered glass. The material helps produce a 3-dimensional pore structure. These fine pores are ideal for bacteria to grow and break down pollutants in the aquarium.
