Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Pellets 1000ml is part of Tropic Marin’s carbon dosing system. They are an organic filter medium for fluidised bed reactors for effective nitrate and phosphate reduction. Starting up quickly and working with continuous action. They consist of a mixture of natural biopolymers; these are used to promote the settlement and growth of bacteria strains and other organisms who degrade nitrate and phosphate. These nutrients are then made available as valuable food sources for filter feeders.
Lower concentrations of nitrate and phosphate, like in the ocean, allow for vibrant and bright coral colouration and tremendous growth.
